Toyota puts a halt onto its Japanese factories following system failure.

The legendary Japanese giant Toyota has put operations on halt on 12 of its assembly plants in Japan. This follows after a glitch that happened costing the domestic plants to not be able to order components which resulted in system failure.
Atleast out of 14 domestic plants the japanes car manufacturer Toyota had to suspend operations on 12 of the domestic plants as the companies spokesperson said.
The car manufacturer mentioned that it did not know when the operations would resume however the Toyota's Miyata plant in Fukuoka as well as the subsidiary Daihatsu's facility in Kyoto continue to normal operate.
The spokesperson continued to add that the car manufacturer does not believe that the system error could be be a result of a cyber attack. This was because the car manufacturer was forced to close all of its domestic plants in Japan in February. This was after their supplier Kojima got hit by the cyber attack.
The halt has cost Toyota shares to drop by 0,64% in the morning trading following the news. The 2022's world's top selling automaker which shifted more that 10.4 million vehicles from its headquarters in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture.
The car manufacturer has set a target of 10.6 million worth of vehicle production for its 2023 year.
