Leonardo DiCaprio Invests in a Vegan Sneaker Brand Called LØCI

Leonardo DiCaprio has become a business partner to James Blunt this was after he invested in a British vegan sneaker brand called LØCI. The 48-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio as well as the 49-year-old James Blunt have been reported to be investors of LØCI.


From the British sneaker websites, it is said that the brand ‘LØCI is all about having ethical fashion without sacrificing on style. With our innovative approach, you don't have to worry any longer if your closet will be packed with outdated fashion - we take a just-in-time production so that no pieces get thrown away into landfills! Look good and feel even better knowing it's cruelty free too; the future of ethical style has never been more fashionable than now’.


DiCaprio and Blunt invested in the British brand after they were persuaded to fund the company by their mutual friend, Princess Eugenie. A source informed The Sun Newspaper’s bizarre column saying "Eugenie was introduced to the brand by her good pal Sofia, James’ wife, and attended its launch event last year. She is connected to Leo through some of her Hollywood pals and inspired him to invest last summer."


The LØCI sneaker brand has become more popular especially to the various members of the British royal family. "Eugenie has since introduced the trainers to Prince Harry and Meghan as well as other environmentally friendly royals. James has now invested too, so he is technically in business with Leo. It’s random but a cool connection for them both" says The Sun Newspaper’s source.

The sneaker company utilizes "premium repurposed ocean and land plastic" and is also popular with musicians and well-known figures such as Ed Sheeren and Ben Affleck.


Leonardo DiCaprio who is well known for his environmental activism appeared and starred in 2016 on a documentary film known as ‘before the flood’ which focused on issues of climate change.


Julie Valenzuela shared her review on the sneaker website saying, “These are seriously the best shoes I have ever owned!! They are my new style. Gone are the heels and straps. II wear my LOCIs with absolutely everything 🥰💕👍😀 Dining out, travelling, shopping, catching up with friends or taking the dog for a walk in the park. I love love these shoes!!!”.


Big brands such as the magazine Forbes also shared their reviews saying, “LOCI sneakers are made with repurposed plastic bottles and the craftsmanship for vegan premium shoes that both durable and breathable”.
